The NGO which was started in 2013 by Pastor Mrs Ruth Ibiamu has helped many widows across the 23 local government areas through its donation and skills acquisition scheme in fashion, and cosmetology.

In 2016 over 700 widows were given food items, clothing and shoes. About 100 widows trained in various skills such as farming, cosmetology and tailoring were given starter parks.

Pastor Ruth Ibiamu said the outreach also enrich widows spiritually to encourage them.

“We also lift their spirit with the word of God. We counsel them to put all their hope in God and that with God on their side things will get better,” she noted.

A widow and beneficiary, Mrs Hope Ene said: “Nobody cares about me and my children. We find it difficult to eat and pay school fees. But this scheme has provided our immediate needs during the Christmas. I have also been shortlisted for skills acquisition,” she said.
