A rights group, Conference of Civil Society for Peace and National Development has said the current onslaught being launch against terrorists, bandits and armed herdsmen has added impetus to the war against insecurity in the country.

The group, in a statement Wednesday by its convener, Mallam Adamu Kabiru, said there was need for sustained aerial surveillance by the Nigeria Air Force which has led to successful neutralisation of bandits in Katsina, Zamfara and armed herdsmen in Benue and other states in the South East
