Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, has charged the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) to grant financial autonomy to the judicial arm of government in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Oba Ewuare gave the charge yesterday when the outgone Chief Judge of the state, Justice Esther Edigi, led other members of the bench to formerly informed him (Oba) of her disengagement from service.

According to him, no society would be corruption-free in absence of financial freedom for the judicial arm of government.
