‘Gov’t spent N1.2b to develop college’

The Kaduna State Government under the administration of Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i has spent over N1.2 billion to develop the state’s College of Education, Gidan Waya.

The administrator of the college, Professor Emmanuel Joseph Chom, disclosed this during an interactive session with newsmen in his office at the permanent site of the institution.

Professor Chom said the development was an intervention following long term neglect of infrastructure and human capacity building, adding that the target of the present administration was to make the institution among the best in the world.
