The Lagos State government has commenced investigations into the activities of some staff at a private hospital, Doren Specialist Hospital in Ajah, where BBNaija star, Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey died after succumbing to injuries sustained from an accident.
It was learnt that the Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency (HEFAMAA), has been mandated to probe allegations that some nurses were making videos of the last moments of the reality star.

A trending 30-second video clip showing the final moments of the reality show star which was allegedly filmed by one of the nurses on duty has attracted condemnation.
In the trending video, nurses in the hospital were heard chatting, while an unconscious Rico was seen placed on oxygen, with one of the nurses urging them to carry Rico onto the bed.
“You people should stop making the video. Somebody is dying, you people are making a video,” she scolded those making the video.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, said HEFAMAA will investigate the incident and appropriate sanctions would be meted out if unprofessional conduct was noticed.
