The Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), in collaboration with the United Nations Children Emergency Funds (UNICEF) with funds from Global Partnership for Education (GPE), has launched a Back-to-School Campaign after COVID-19 Pandemic.

Speaking at the flag off campaign, the Executive Chairman of Kano’s SUBEB, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, who was represented by the Board’s Secretary, Alhaji Baffa Saleh, disclosed that the move was to address the issue of out-of-school children in the state.

In a goodwill message, the GEP3 manager, UNICEF Nigeria, Mr. Michael Banda commended the state government for its prompt response to the coronavirus pandemic in its efforts to prevent spread of the disease.
