Govt donates patrol vehicles to FRSC

The Rivers State government has donated two patrol vehicles to the Rivers state Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

In a statement sent by Head, Media Relations and Strategy of the Corps, Bisi Kazeem, the Governor of Rivers state, Nyeson Wike made the gesture while receiving the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi in his office.

The statement said Wike commended the staff of the Port Harcourt Sector Command for efforts towards effective traffic management and security in the state.

On his part, the Corps Marshal thanked the governor for the gesture, stressing that the FRSC could not address the challenges of road safety without support from relevant stakeholders.
