The Nasarawa State government has commenced the construction of the 22-kilometre Aso-Panda road in Mararaba area of Karu local government area of the state.
Speaking during an inspection tour of the road, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura said the road had been awarded in phases with the initial five kilometres from Mararaba to Aso-pada, and promised that the state government would ensure early completion of the project.

Speaking on behalf of the contractors, CGC Construction Company, the project manager, Mr Hu Kai, promised to carry out the work according to specifications.
