Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State said his administration will construct a fully functional primary health care clinic in each of the 274 wards in the state.
Receiving a delegation from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on a courtesy visit to him yesterday, the governor said his administration placed priority attention on the health sector, hence its huge allocation in the 2016 budget.
Represented by his deputy, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ketso, the governor said he ran an open door administration in keeping with his electoral campaign promise.
“This is a government of the people, that is why we are committed to engaging widely before decisions are taken,” he said.
