Gov’ship: PDP optimistic of regaining power

The Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reaffirmed its commitment to take over from the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Yahaya Bello and effect a change in the state.

The stakeholders of the party expressed this at Anyigba in Dekina Local Government Area of the state during the unveiling of the governorship candidate of the party, Senator Dino Melaye, and his running mate, Habiba Muhammed Deen, to the people of the senatorial district.

A former governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, who handled the proceedings, stated that the people should not be afraid, but to come out enmasse to cast their votes for the party, noting that they will give them the necessary security they need during the period of election.
