Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has condoled with the family of a former General Manager (GM) of Radio Kwara, Dr Rahim Kajogbola Omoloso, who died at 76 after a brief illness at the weekend.
Governor AbdulRazaq said the deceased was a perfect gentleman and a decent public servant who served God and humanity, urging the family to take solace in his fine legacies.
City & Crime reports that the late Dr Omoloso was an associate professor of linguistics with Al-Hikmah University, llorin, after he departed the media industry, where he also previously served as Editor of Nigeria Herald.
Dr Agbarigidoma of Al-Hikmah University led the prayers at the burial with the presence of eminent citizens who thronged the graveside to pay him their last respect.

Also, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara State, expressed grief over the death.
In a condolence message signed by the Chairman of the Kwara State NUJ Council, Ahmed Lanre Abdullateef, and Secretary, Mahmood Olayinka Alaya, the union conveyed its shock and sadness over the news of Dr Omoloso’s death.
