Gombe state governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, on Sunday approved the appointment of 12 persons as members of his ‘kitchen’ cabinet.
In a statement issued by the Director of Administration and Finance at the Government House, Mohammed A. Umar, the governor has appointed Professor Abubakar Ibrahim Njodi as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mohammed Kabir Usman Kukan Daka as Chief of Staff, Bappayo Yahaya, head of civil service and Usman Mamman Kamara as Principal Private Secretary.
Governor Yahaya also appointed five others as media aides.
They include: Ismaila Uba Misilli, Senior Special Assistant, Media & Publicity; Kabiru Ibn Mohammad, Special Assistant (Media); Sulaiman Musa, Special Assistant (Media); Bintu Aliyu Sunmonu, Special Assistant (Media); and Jack A. Tasha, Special Assistant (Media).
Other appointments are: Musa Habibu, Special Assistant (Protocol); Yakubu Ibrahim Sarki, Special Assistant (Protocol) and Sani Garba as Special Assistant.
According to the statement, all the appointments take immediate effect.
