Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has approved the appointment of Uche Onyeagucha as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chief Chris Okewulonu as Chief of Staff (COS).
He has also appointed Chima Nwana as the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) and Chief Chinemerem Madu- Chief of Protocol (COP).
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, said that Onyeagucha, a lawyer, was a former member of the House of Representatives.
Chief Okewulonu, chairman of the transition and inauguration committee was a member of Imo House of Assembly, a former Commissioner in the state and former Secretary to Imo State Government.
According to the statement, Nwana had training in the leading institutions, including the University of Nigeria (LL.B), Thames Valley University U.K., (Post Graduate Certificate) the Management School London, ILO Training Institute, Turin Italy etc.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, ICMC, Maritime Law Consultant, Chartered Mediator and governance expert while Madu was a former chairman of PDP in Ezinihitte local Government area of the state.
