Governor-elect pledges to implement new minimum wage

Nasarawa State Governor-elect, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has pledged to implement the new minimum wage after he is sworn in May 29.

Spokesperson to the governor-elect, Sanusi Aliyu, said the incoming governor also commended President Muahmmadu Buhari for signing the New Minimum Wage Bill into Law.

The spokesman quoted Engr. Sule as saying signing the bill was a testament that President Buhari prioritizes the welfare of Nigerian workers and is always ready to ensure the right conditions are in place for them.
