Others are Garba Umar, Naziru Abubakar, Bashir Chilla, Ali Nayara, Shuaibu Doguwa, Rabiu Pele, Muhammed Danjuma, Sabo Chokalinka, Abba Haruna, Usman Kofar- Na’isa and Yakubu Pele.

He said that the appointments were with immediate effect, adding that the officials would soon be inaugurated. The governor charged the officials to discharge their duties with dedication and commitment for the realisation of their mandate.

The Sai Masu Gida were relegated from the Nigeria Premier League in the 2021/22 season.

Kano Pillars have, however, qualified for the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Eight playoffs. The top four teams from the competition will secure promotion to the NPL.

Meanwhile, the governor has hailed Team Kano for their outstanding performance, securing the second position in the highly anticipated 1st Annual Nigeria’s Chief of Naval Staff National Under-20 Male Youth Football Championship instituted by the freshly retired Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo.

Represented by his deputy, Comr. Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo at the grand finale held over the weekend, Yusuf expressed his appreciation for the importance of sports in fostering peace, unity, and understanding among communities in Nigeria.
