Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar also used the occasion to appeal to Nigerians to continue to pray for their leaders, stressing that God would never hesitate to bless anybody doing his work. The monarch enjoined Islamic scholars and well-to-do people in the state to ensure that such a school extends to all over the state. “This is a work for our religion and anybody that does it will be rewarded by Allah,” the Sultan admonished Muslims. He particularly acknowledged Governor Wamakko’s tremendous contributions to the cause of Islam in Nigeria.
