Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has signed into law the 2020 revised budget of N62.96billion.

He said at the signing of the budget tagged ‘Amended Budget of Inclusive Development,’ that “the review of the budget has become necessary from N108 billion to N62 billion considering the effects of COVID-19 on the economy.”

The signing ceremony took place at Government House, Lafia yesterday and had in attendance the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.

The Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi said the House would support the executive to improve the lives of the people of the state, hence the need for the prompt passage of the budget for the benefit of the citizens.
