Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has sacked the Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic Lafia, Dr Justina Anjiode-Kotso, and asked her to proceed on a compulsory leave.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Barr. Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu, which was made available to newsmen on Saturday.
According to the statement, the decision was to allow the whitepaper committee on the report of the visitation panel carry out its assignment without any interference and hiccups.
The statement added that the governor suspended the Governing Council members and directed that they hand over all properties of the institution in their possession to the appropriate officer.

Our correspondent reports that the visitation panel chaired by Engineer Ali Rabiu submitted its report on February 2, 2024, to the governor to enable the panel carry out a thorough investigation surrounding corruption allegations in the institution.
