Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has flagged off the construction of the 24-kilometre Idadu-Agbashi road worth N3.2 billion.
While flagging off the construction of the road on Friday in the Doma Local Government Area of the state, Sule explained that the project was awarded to Road and Bridge International Nigeria Limited.
The governor disclosed that he had already saved money enough for the construction of the road before the contract was awarded.
He posited that the flagging off of the road was in fulfilment of his pledge to construct the road during the 2019 electioneering campaign, noting that the promise had come to a reality.
He pledged to provide security to the company constructing the road to ensure timely completion based on specifications.
