Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has appointed 21 members of some Boards and Parastatals in the state.
The new appointments were contained in a statement issued by Secretary to State Government (SSG), Timothy Kataps.
The statement issued at the weekend include the appointment of four special advisers, 11 board members of Taraba State Investment Promotion Agency and six board members of Taraba Board of Internal Revenue.
Those appointed as special advisers are, Charles Maijankai, Special Adviser on Homeland Security Matters; Zanau Maikasuwa, Special Adviser on Agriculture & Food Security; Sunday Patrick, Special Adviser on Christian Religion Matters; and Hussaini Ismail, Special Adviser on Muslim Religious Matters.
According to the statement, Kabiru Jalo is to serve as the new chairman of the investment agency while Jeremiah Faransa is the chairman of the board of internal revenue.
The governor also approved the appointment of Benjamin Baissa as the new Permanent Secretary of the Bureau for Local Government, Traditions and Chieftaincy Affairs.
