Gov Fintiri Pays Courtesy Visit to Lamido Fombina, Reaffirms Commitment to Unity

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri recently paid a goodwill visit to HRH Lamido Fombina Alh Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo, Chairman of the Adamawa Council of Chiefs, at his palace in Yola.

The visit welcomed the royal father back from his medical trip to Qatar.

Fintiri was accompanied by top officials, including Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Secretary to the State Government Hon. Auwal D. Tukur, Chief of Staff Mr. Sunday Edga Amos, and Commissioner for Rehabilitation, Resettlement, and Reconstruction Barr. Bello Hamman-Ndiram.

Upon arrival at the palace, the Governor was received by council members, including Alh. Aminu Abdulqadir (Walin Adamawa), Rtd Justice Nathan Musa (Wakili Alkalai Adamawa and former Chief Justice of Adamawa State), Alh. Mustapha Barkindo (Kaura Adamawa), Alh. Usman Marafa (Madawaki Adamawa and Special Adviser to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs), Alh. Sadiq Umar Daware (Danlawan Adamawa), and Alh. Kabiru Bakari (Ag. Secretary Emirate Council and Tariya Adamawa).

This visit underscores Governor Fintiri’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with traditional leaders and promoting unity in the state.

By engaging with key stakeholders, the governor aims to strengthen collaboration and drive development initiatives in Adamawa.
