Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State has signed five Executive Orders aimed at creating an enabling environment for commerce, trade and investment to thrive in the State
The Executive Orders were also geared towards boosting the state’s internally generated revenue amidst the nation’s economic crisis.
The new Executive Orders include Sokoto State Investment Incentives Order No. 01; Sokoto State Promotion of Transparency and Efficiency in Business and Sokoto State Establishment of Grievance Mechanism Order No. 03.
Others were Sokoto State Revenue Integration and Consolidation (review of rates of taxes, etc) Order No. 04 and Sokoto State Revenue Integration and Consolidation (consolidated Demand Notice Review) Order No. 05.
