Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, is dead, according to multiple sources.
The veteran singer was said to have slumped and died at his home on Friday morning.
Okposo made headlines early this year when he took to his verified Instagram page to apologize to his wife, Ozioma after cheating on her with another woman in the United States.
Following the scandal, he took time off from ministration in order to retrace his step with God.

In May this year, he escaped death after being involved in a ghastly car accident while driving at 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos.
The singer’s family confirmed Sammie’s death in a statement signed by Hector Okposo.
“It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that I announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and Minister of God, Sammie Okposo.
“Sammie slept and went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, November 25, 2022. More details about the burial will be communicated soon.
“We are consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels. We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time,” the statement read.
