Gombe to take 100,000 vulnerable children, youths off street

Gombe State government said it would take 100, 000 children and youths off the street, in order to live a life of dignity through a provision of various skills that would make them self-reliant.

Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya stated this on Monday in Gombe at the flag-off of the At-Risk-Children Project (ARC-P), an initiative of the federal government to rehabilitate vulnerable children and youth.

He said the state government had signed an MoU with the ARC-P, to support at least 100,000 children and youth across the 11 LGAs of the state to constructively live a life of dignity by providing them with necessary skills, that would enable them to harness their potential and energies for the overall development of the state.
