The Gombe State Government has commended the Eighteen Engineering Company International Limited for the timely completion of the N3.7bn Degri- Bembelem-Reme-Dong-Talasse Road in the state.
The Gombe State Director of Highways, Aliyu Isa Shinga, in a statement in Abuja, said the 21km road “meets all safety and quality standards.”

He recalled that the road in Balanga Local Government Area of the state had been flagged off by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in December 2019 to open up the area and boost economic growth. He said the company had also been awarded a maintenance contract that would last for 12 months beginning from June 2021.
