Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, has appointed Hajiya Sa’adatu Sa’ad Mustapha as Director-General, Protocol and Facility Management.

Mustapha served as commissioner of environment and forest resources during the second tenure of Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo.

A statement issued by Director-General Press Affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli, said the Secretary to the state Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi conveyed the governor’s approval.

He said Governor Yahaya also constituted the board of the state Water Board and appointed Engineer Yakubu Abdulkadir Rasheed as chairman, with Ali Buba Bajoga; Umar Alhaji Jurara, Alhassan Malam Gana, Mohammed Abubakar Musa Bomala, Badamasi Ali Kurjale, Isaac Lamido, Comrade Abubakar Musa Toly and Abdullahi Dogonyaro Gundale as board members.

“The governor also approved the appointment of Ibrahim Musa Bakas as Special Adviser (Special Duties), Umar Chiroma Abdussalam, Deputy Chief of Staff- Gombe North and Jani Adamu Bello, former chairman of Akko LGA as Deputy Chief of Staff, Gombe Central,” he said.

The statement added that Governor Yahaya has set up Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation team and appointed Professor Namala Amuga Keftin as Special Adviser, Architect Aminu Mohammed and QS Alkali Abubakar, as Senior Special Assistants I, while Engr. Dan Naptali and Engr. Muhammed Dauda Abubakar will serve serve as Senior Special Assistants II

Misilli said all the appointments are with immediate effect.
