Gombe APC members seek credible congress

In a communiqué signed by Suleiman Hassan issued at the end of its one day stakeholders meeting which held yesterday in Gombe, the meeting resolved that the national interim committee should ensure the observance of the party’s guidelines pertaining to congresses and direct the congress committee to do justice to all without fear or favour at all levels.
He said the legacy parties are ready to go for the congresses and field candidates for all the elective posts saying their appeal to the national body is to be just and fair to all.
The group warned that any injustice or favour to any person or group of persons will lead to disintegration of the party in the state.
The meeting said as founding members of the APC they have never contemplated leaving the party and called for a concerted effort by all APC members to push PDP out of power in the state saying  this can only be achieved if the house is not divided and called on all aggrieved parties to forget their differences to come together to have one single APC in Gombe.
“The only way out is to form a formidable opposition to the ruling PDP in Gombe State and this is the best way to win an election in Gombe.”
