The Gombe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted a 240-member campaign council for the 2023 general elections in the state.
A statement on Wednesday by the state chairman of the party, Mr Nitte K. Amangal, said the council is chaired by Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
The governor is to be supported by his deputy, Manassah Daniel Jatau, while the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Zubairu Muhammad Umar, will serve as director-general.
The statement also said Dr Jamil Isiyaku Gwamna would serve as the campaign coordinator and Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, Ambassador Ibrahim Yerima Abdullahi and Barrister Achana Gaius Yaro as the council patrons.

The campaign council also has all three senators and five members of the House of Representatives from the state as well as 21 state lawmakers as members.
The statement added that the campaign council will be inaugurated on Saturday, December 9, to be followed by a flag-off of the campaign rally at the Gombe Township Stadium.
