Top Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg have announced they have completed the signing of Golden Eaglets skipper Samson Tijani on a five-year contract.
Tijani has turned 18 and so could sign a pro contract.
The contract will be till May 31, 2025.
“I am so grateful to sign for Red Bull Salzburg,” he said on the club’s social media account.
“I hope the fans will support us and be with us in this journey, which will not be easy.”
Defensive midfielder Tijani was a popular target for several top European clubs after he captained Nigeria at last year’s U17 World Cup in Brazil.
