Goje touted for Senate leadership position

Mr. Gara made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Daily Trust.
He said Senator Goje, who has been elected for the second time will make a better Senate leader by virtue of his fine leadership qualities and ability to mobilize support for the party, especially at the grassroots.
He said Goje has held several leadership positions, both at the state and national levels, which has given him impetus for the Senate leadership position.
“Goje was a former member of state assembly, former minister and served as Gombe State governor for eight years. He was reelected for the second term as senator. He is a good candidate for any position in the Senate,” he said.
