The late Wife of the former governor of Gombe of state, Hajiya Yelwa Mohammed Danjuma Goje who died on Monday will be buried on Friday in Gombe state.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki who told Senators during today’s plenary, said she would be buried at the Emir’s Palace in Gombe.
The remains of Yelwa who died on Monday at the age of 55 at a Hospital in the United States of America is expected to arrive the country by 8.30am tomorrow (Friday).
Also, the family of Goje who chairs the Senate committee on Appropriations in a statement by his son, Ahmad Mohammed Goje said:
“On behalf of our family, I wish to announce that the body of our Mother her Excellency, Hajiya Fatima Yelwa Goje, will arrive Gombe from United State of America tomorrow (Today) at 8:30am.
"Funeral Prayers will In shaa Allah take place at the Gombe Emir’s Palace at 2pm prompt. May her gentle soul rest in peace, and may Al-Jannatul Firdaus be her final abode.”
