Goat ‘thief’ knocks down 3 Okada riders in Kwara

A suspected car and goat thief identified as Isiaka has been arrested after he allegedly knocked down three okada riders while trying to escape in the Akerebiata area in Ilọrin East LGA of Kwara State.

The owner of the stolen goat, Iya Kehinde Eleran, told our correspondent that it was her daughters who were looking for the goat that saw the suspect luring it into the car before they raised alarm.

She explained that, “He got the goat inside a dark ash Toyota Corolla which we later learnt he also stole and sped off.

“My two daughters took an Okada and followed him shouting ‘ole, ole!’. In the course of his trying to escape, he knocked down three Okada riders which angered their colleagues who went after him.

An Okada rider, AbdulRazaq, said that but for the police the suspect would have been lynched.
