A popular political analyst and lecturer of Political Science, Professor Kamilu Sani Fagge, has urged the youth to stand up for their rights to get leadership positions in the country.
The don who spoke at a congress organised by a youth movement, ‘We Together Nigeria’ at Mumbayya House in Kano, said the youth should work towards acquiring power by themselves, adding that nobody will give it to them.

“By just advocating for leadership in the country you will never get it. You should stand up and acquire it yourself. Nobody will give you power,” he said.
He noted that if illiteracy, hunger and poverty will continue to thrive in the country, women and youth will never get the opportunity to acquire leadership positions, and blamed bad leadership and misgovernance as the causes of the setback.
