Thirty-two Nigerians have been deported from Germany over immigration-related offences.
The deportees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos from Dusseldorf Airport in German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The chartered aircraft operated by Evelop Airlines touched down at the airport around 2:30 p.m.
It was learnt that the repatriation was facilitated by the German Embassy in Nigeria.
An immigration source told our correspondent that all the male passengers were deported over immigration-related offences.
“Yes all the passengers are males. They arrived this afternoon for immigration-related offences, which imply that probably their papers expired and they were unable to renew the papers,” the source said.
