The Nigerian Army on Saturday replaced the Theater Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole in the northeast, Maj. Gen. Abba Dikko with Major General Benson Akinroluyo from Headquarters 3 Division.
This was announced via a statement signed by the Army spokesman, Brigadier General Texas Chukwu today.
It stated that Major General Abba Dikko has been moved to the Department of Civil Military Affairs as the Chief of Civil Military Affairs.

Other senior officers were also affected by the major shakeup.
