A former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, officially registered on Thursday as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Daniel, who was the Director-General of the campaign committee of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar in 2019, registered at his ward 12, Isote in Sagamu LGA of the state.

The former governor, who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Olufunke Daniel, was registered by his ward chairman, Suji Olusegun.
The exercise was supervised by the state chairman of the APC Revalidation and Registration Committee, Hon Ademorin Kuye.
Daniel had on Tuesday officially joined APC and was received into the party by five governors; Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano) and Abubakar Sani Bello (Niger) at his Asoludero court in Sagamu, Ogun State.
