Gbajabiamila, Wase, govs celebrate Buhari at 79

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and his deputy, Ahmed Idris Wase, have eulogised President Muhammadu Buhari on his 79th birthday.

 The duo in separate statements congratulated the president, saying that he has achieved a lot since coming into office in 2015 despite challenges.

 The speaker in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, said the President should be celebrated by all well-meaning Nigerians on his birthday.

 He lauded President Buhari for putting Nigeria first before any other consideration.

 He said President Buhari had achieved a lot both as an individual and as a leader with uncommon character and integrity.

 Similarly, the Deputy Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Umar Muhammmad Puma, said the President deserved to be judged fairly based on his track record in the last six years.

 Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, in a congratulatory message he personally signed, said under Buhari’s leadership, Nigeria had witnessed tremendous growth in many facets of human endeavours despite numerous challenges.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory message issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described President Buhari as a courageous and passionate leader whose commitment to the growth and development of Nigeria is worthy of emulation.
