Gbajabiamila urged the PDP to learn to cope with losing members, since there is no court ruling that would deny any Nigerian from the right to associate freely with a chosen group or persons. The lawmaker in a statement advised the PDP to stop their “wishful thinking. According to him, a similar scenario exists in the United States of America where the opposition party was in majority in the lower chamber. He said: “The PDP guys sound like petulant spoilt brats. I cannot count the number of members that have crossed to the PDP from other parties in the last two years with the party rejoicing and celebrating the cross over and yet no one’s seat was declared vacant.”
