Leader of Al-Harakatul Islamiyyah under the auspices of the Muslim Ummah in the South West, Mallam AbdulRazq Abdulwahab-Al-Amin, has called on “all upholders of truth” to boycott goods and services directly or indirectly connected to Israel.

Speaking with journalists in Ilọrin, Kwara State capital, shortly after a procession to condemn the killings, on Friday, the cleric said the war is not about religion but humanity.

He also said Nigeria’s position in the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine is “not reflective of the sensitivity and expectations the issue deserves”.

According to him, “Nigeria and other truth loving nations including Saudi Arabia, should sever diplomatic ties with Israel. Middle East countries should ensure an end to the war under the banner of Islam rather than Arabism.”

Mallam Abdulwahab-Al-Amin said the international community should hold Israel accountable for war crimes against the Palestinians.

While calling on the Muslims to pray for an end to the war, the South west Muslim leader expressed displeasure over negative comments made by a Christian leader on the Israelis attacks against the Palestinians.

In his remarks a member of Islamic Movement, Mallam Muhammed Raji , expressed sadness over the continued molestation of the Palestinians.

He said the international communities should as a matter of urgency rise and bring and end to the genocide that is going on in Palestinians land.

Also, Abdulfatah Isa Abu-Hannifa, said the killings of both Christians and Muslims in Palestine should be condemned .

He noted that human beings should not be killed based on their colour or faith.
