Garlic butter steak and potatoes skillet

This flavourful steak and potato dish, sizzled in a rich garlic-herb butter, is a true gem, especially during a festive season. It only takes a few minutes to prepare thanks to its simple recipe.

Ingredients

Soy sauce, olive oil, hot sauce, black pepper, steak, (sliced against grain), sweet or irish potatoes, butter,garlic cloves, salt, fresh thyme, grated Parmesan (optional)

Combine steak strips, soy sauce, olive oil, spicy sauce, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. toss and set aside while you cook the potatoes.

How to identify your skin type

Drink: Refreshing mint tea

Add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a big skillet and set over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes when the butter has melted. While cooking, stir occasionally until the potatoes are golden and cooked through. Place the potatoes on a platter and reserve.

On medium-high, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the garlic. In one layer, arrange steak strips. Cook until browned for 2 minutes, turning once.

Re-add the potatoes and steak to the skillet. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, or until well done. If preferred, season with more salt and pepper.

Take the pan off the heat and sprinkle with fresh thyme.

You can enjoy the dish with family and loved one on christmas day.
