Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a former media aide to Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has debunked reports that he is being sponsored for the gubernatorial election on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) by his former boss.
Daily Trust reports that there have been talks in Kano that the governor may be the one behind the ambition of his former media aide, so as to make it easier for the candidate of the governor’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to emerge victorious.
