Ganduje lifts suspension on Dawakin Tofa college students

The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has granted executive pardon to students indicted in the riot that took place at Dawakin Tofa Science College recently.

Gov. Ganduje directed the Ministry of Education to immediately recall the affected students, especially the SS3 students among them that were to write WAEC.

The decision was taken on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, following an executive memo presented to the governor by the Commissioner for Education, Mal. Muhammad S. Kiru, shortly before the commencement of the weekly State Executive Council (SEC) meeting.
