The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has led governors elected on the platform of the ruling party to a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Daily Trust learnt that Ganduje and the governors were in the Villa to present the Edo governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, to President Tinubu.
Among the governors sighted were Hope Uzodimma, (Imo), Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi) and Dapo Abiodun, (Ogun).
Also in the entourage were senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Deputy Governor of Edo, Philip Shaibu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Okpebholo winner of September 21 governorship election, but the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) kicked against the declaration, alleging that the process was marred by irregularities.
