“We have two forests in Kano that we have taken over from crime perpetrators, the Dansoshiya forest and the Falgore forest.
“We created the Ruga settlement in Dansoshiya and resolved the herders-farmers crisis, while here in Falgore we founded a military training camp.
“These activities have turned the forests lively and driven criminal activities away,” he said.
Doguwa, who represents Tudunwada/Doguwa federal constituency, described the Falgore forest in the past as a very dangerous zone where crimes, like robbery, kidnapping, banditry and others, happened regularly.
He added that the intervention of Governor Ganduje has reformed the place and made it safer.
