Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has commended the leadership of the National Assembly for its decision to lift the suspension slammed on one of its members, Abdulmumin Jibrin from Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency in Kano state.
Governor Ganduje, according to a press statement signed by Kano state Commissioner of Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, specifically thanked the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara and other principal officers of the House for their bold and timely decision.
The statement quoted the governor as saying that the resolve to reconsider its decision on the Kano state federal lawmaker had indicated that the green chamber is putting its house in order.
The governor further commended all those who contributed in seeing the lawmaker out of his predicament.
