Ganduje donates to families of 18 Doguwa flood victims

The governor paid a condolence visit to the families of the victims Sunday.

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has donated N200,000 to each of the families of the eighteen Dogowa flood victims.
The governor paid a condolence visit to the families of the victims on Sunday.
He prayed for the reposed souls of those who died as a result of the heavy downpour which resulted in the flood.”When the information of this sad tragedy reached us, we were seriously shocked.

“May Allah forgive the victims who died as martyrs, being washed away by the flood.

“May He give them the ultimate reward of Jannatul Fiddaus, ameen,” the governor prayed.

The victims came from Doguwa town of Doguwa Local Government Area of the State, about 200 kilometres away from Kano metropolis.

Governor Ganduje was in the company of the House Leader, House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, party leaders and elders, some Commissioners and members of the State Executive Council, advisers, among other top government functionaries.

The families of the victims appreciated the governor and his entourage and prayed for the successful completion of his tenure.
