Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the business community in the state have donated the sum of N20m to the traders affected by the fire that razed Katsina Central market recently.
Ganduje was in Katsina Tuesday together with the leadership of Kano business community to sympathise with the government and people of Katsina State over the unfortunate fire incident that destroyed goods and properties worth billions of naira.

“We are here with the business community who are concerned, worried and have suffered the same fire tragedy in Sabon Gari market in Kano, to console you, and the people of the state over the sad fire incident that gutted the market last month,” the governor said.
In his response, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State thanked the Kano governor and his entourage for the donation.
