Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun; Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare and other personalities, on Friday, stormed Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for a year remembrance of a former governor of the state, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Speakers at the event paid glowing tributes to the late politician, saying they missed his wealth of wisdom both in politics and governance.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who was represented at the event lauded the contributions of Ajimobi to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
The VP, who was represented by Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, said Ajimobi “left the stage with sterling achievements.”
Also speaking, a former minister, Chief Nike Akande described him as a great man who touched many lives positively.
It would be recalled that Ajimobi, who governed the state for two consecutive terms of eight years died on June 25, 2020 at the age of 70.
