Ganaru unperturbed by Nasarawa’s shaky start

Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday, the former Kano Pillars FC handler said his boys gave a good account of themselves but were unlucky.
He said it was a good match because both teams played well and the officiating was also fair.
Ganaru said had his team converted the first half penalty, it would have gone on to take the maximum points.
The coach said “It was a good match. I am not disturbed by the scoreline. My boys played very well. We had a penalty awarded to us in the first half but my player failed to convert. That would have been the turning point.
“I am also happy with the performance of the match officials. The referees were fair in their officiating and if such continues, the league will be the better for it”
Ganaru therefore expressed optimism that his team will get better as the season progresses, just as he said Nasarawa United will pick their first three points next weekend.
“I am confident that we shall get better as the league progresses. The truth of the matter is that in as much as they did not play badly, some of my players are yet to understand my pattern.
“With time, we shall blend fully and the results would roll in. But we hope to bounce back this weekend”, he assured.
