A former Nigeria International and Kano Pillars legend, Gambo Muhammad has rejoined the ‘Sai Masu Gida’ as an assistant coach.
Gambo joined the technical crew of the four-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions after his graduation from the coaching course he attended at the National Institute of Sports in Abuja.

According to the Media Officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu, the Chairman of the Aiteo cup holders, Alhaji Surajo Shuaibu Jambul, was behind the appointment of the legendary striker.
Following his appointment, Gambo was on Pillars’ technical bench when the ‘Sai Masu gida’ boys played host to Plateau United yesterday in Kaduna.
Gambo spent most of his playing career in Kano Pillars where he led them to four league titles before his short stint at Katsina United where he played two seasons.
In a chat with the media department of the club, Gambo thanked the club chairman and promised to use the experience he had garnered over the years under some of the best coaches in the country and the knowledge he acquired at the National Institute for Sports to help Pillars win more titles.
